Twinings "Sea" advertisement (Psyop)

Twinings "Sea" Sound design & mix by Raja Sehgal & Munzie Thind from GCRS on Vimeo.

Gorgeous spot for Twinings tea from Psyop, everything about this works really well. It seems to borrow heavily from a sequence in Studio AKA's short film Lost and Found, in itself no bad thing!

Stopover (LeMob)

By all accounts, this is almost a 1-man job. No small achievement!

Neil Stubbings own site is well worth checking out too.

New ISO50 test video

You’ve got to love what this guy does with colour. On screen, photo and video treatments, print, there’s always an interesting tactile, analog feel to his work.

Interesting and nicely shot short graphic student film with nods to the visual signatures of key figures in the history of the medium.

Journey

As this reviewer suggests, there's something of the Gibli about this as well as that beautiful desolation of Shadow of the Colossus.

Visions from Popular Science & Nuclear Everything!

I really like the imagery in these two recent articles about 50's/60's design, innovation, and oulook on nuclear power being the new wonder-technology!

Jim's Red Book - Great blog about the great man.

For anyone interested in all things Henson, this is a great blog with a wealth of information:

"In June 1965, 28-year-old Jim Henson started a written log of his activities in what became known as “The Red Book.” He noted down what had happened up until that point (deemed “Ancient History”) and then recorded anything that he felt was worth recording as single line journal entries until the end of 1988."

Storm Freerun Volume 1

Some really nicely filmed free-running, good slo-mo and steadicam shots.
