Twinings "Sea" advertisement (Psyop)

Twinings "Sea" Sound design & mix by Raja Sehgal & Munzie Thind from GCRS on Vimeo.

Gorgeous spot for Twinings tea from Psyop, everything about this works really well. It seems to borrow heavily from a sequence in Studio AKA's short film Lost and Found, in itself no bad thing!

Tostitos “Salsa” (Laika)

Animation studio Laika who were behind Coraline also have a commercial wing called Laika/House. This spot is directed by Nicholas Weigel who was also involved with Psyop on the wonderful Inside the Happiness Factory for Coke.

Psyop's UPS ads

New York based agency Psyop have produced a series of impressive spots for UPS. Corrugated cardboard cutouts animated in a faux stop-motion style form the basis of some very effective ads. The storytelling remains clear depsite the short time each spot has to get it's message accross - well worth a look at all of them.
